You'll dive head-first into Adobe After Effects and begin creating animations from day one, such as keyframe animation, motion graphics, and compositing and you’ll learn the principles behind great animations. The course is designed to give students a solid understanding of the animation process and to help them develop the skills necessary to create engaging and visually stunning animations for digital media. By the end of this course, you'll have multiple animated videos, with creative assets and guidance that can be added to your portfolio. It will also introduce them to various software and techniques used in the industry.

Month 01

Week 1
  • Introduction to After Effects and setting up your workspace
  • Keyframe animation and basic compositing techniques
  • Preparing layers and files in Adobe illustrator
  • Working with Illustrator files in After effects
Week 2
  • Advance animation with masks and shape layers
  • Working with effects in after effect
Week 3
  • Basic introduction to 3D in after effects
  • Animation with Text layers
  • Working with Adjustments layers and null objects
Week 4
  • Using plugins and scripts to speed up the workflow
  • Creating a class project from everything learned in 1St Month

Month 02

Week 1
  • Advanced compositing techniques
  • Introduction to kinetic typography animation
  • Creating and animating infographics
Week 2
  • Basic character animation
  • Introduction to basic green screen removal and color correction
Week 3
  • Introduction to essential VFX workflow
  • Working with tracking in after effects
  • Working with live footage in after effects

  • Particle effects and dynamic simulations and creating special effects in After effects

Month 03

Week 1
  • Introduction to Maya and setting up your workspace
  • Basic modeling in maya
  • Introduction to Motion graphics in Maya

  • Advanced character rigging and animation in After effects
  • Working with 3D layers in After effects correction
  • Advanced 3D composition in after effects
  • Working with various plugins to improve the work
Week 3
  • Coming up with a class project and introduction to storyboarding
  • Creating a complete Styleframe from the storyboard
Week 4
  • Capstone project: creating a complete motion graphics piece using After Effects and Maya from concept to final render.
